Mukyokukan (“the Site,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) recognizes the importance of protecting personal information and establishes this Privacy Policy to explain how we collect, use, retain, and protect it.

When you purchase a product, contact us, create an account, subscribe to a newsletter, or otherwise use the Site, we may collect the following information:

• The payment method used, payment status, and information identifying the payment transaction

Complete credit card details, including full card numbers and security codes, are generally managed by the applicable payment provider and are not stored by us. We may, however, retain limited information supplied by the payment provider, such as the payment method, transaction result, transaction identifier, card type, or last four digits.

3. Guest Purchases

The Site may allow customers to purchase products without creating an account. Even when a purchase is made as a guest, we retain the personal information entered during checkout, order information, and download records as necessary to process the order and payment, manage download permission, maintain proof of purchase, provide support, and comply with legal recordkeeping obligations.

A guest order is not connected to a WordPress customer account. It is managed through the order information and the download link contained in the order completion email.

4. Payment Services

The Site uses credit card payment services, PayPal, Paidy, and other payment services displayed during checkout. To process a payment, your name, email address, billing information, order amount, currency, order number, and other necessary information may be sent to the payment provider you select.

Each payment provider processes personal information in accordance with its own privacy policy and terms of service.

We do not disclose personal data to a third party without the individual’s consent except in the following circumstances:

• When disclosure is necessary to protect a person’s life, health, or property and obtaining consent is difficult

Guest purchasers may also submit a request by contacting us from the email address used for the purchase.

11. Deletion of Download Records and Permissions

Deleting or anonymizing personal information may result in the revocation of download permission and deletion of download records for purchased products. Please download and securely back up any required files before requesting deletion or anonymization.

12. Email Communications

We send newsletters and other promotional emails only where the recipient has requested or consented to receive them. Recipients may unsubscribe at any time using the method stated in the email or by contacting us.

Transactional communications concerning orders, payments, downloads, security, or important changes to applicable conditions may still be sent after the recipient has unsubscribed from promotional communications.

13. External Links

The Site may contain links to external websites. Personal information processed by an external website is governed by that website operator’s privacy policy.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may amend this Privacy Policy in response to changes in law, our services, or our data-processing practices. If a change is material, we will provide notice by posting it on the Site or through another appropriate method.
